As a kid, I remember my mom taking care of her skin. We would clean the house, and she would walk around with an oatmeal and honey mask (one of her many homemade masks).
I remember when I told my mom that I wanted to go to school to be an esthetician. I had three teenagers and a toddler. My husband and I had just opened The Right Barbers. I didn’t think it was the right time to go back to school, but my mom thought differently. She told me “There is no time like the present!”, and encouraged me to follow my dreams. With the help and support of my husband, my kids, and my mom, I became an esthetician.
Which brings us to today.
When my husband and I decided to open Refine Skin Kare, I knew I wanted it to be a place where I could help people feel confident by bringing out the beauty they already possess. I wanted to create an environment that was clean, inviting, and classy. A space where anyone can come and feel comfortable, respected, worthy and cared for.
So much of my physical and spiritual energy has gone into Refine Skin Kare. Though, I do have to say that most of the physical energy came from my husband. Refine Skin Kare is like our sixth child.
My hope is that all who come to Refine Skin Kare feel the immense love we have for our clients.
